The Owner, with over 29 years of invaluable experience in geotechnical engineering and construction management, leads a talented team that includes three Associate Engineers whose combined expertise exceeds 50 years. Adding further depth to our capabilities, Marvin Davis, lends his wealth of knowledge accumulated over more than 50 years to support projects on a consulting basis.
Our dynamic team includes eighteen dedicated engineers, construction inspectors, skilled field and laboratory technicians, and administrative team, all united by a common goal: to provide exceptional engineering solutions. Geotechnical Engineering
We provide geotechnical engineering services such as geotechnical investigations, fault evaluation studies, forensic evaluation of foundations (expansive soil, groundwater, settlement and lateral movement damage), design of rockery and retaining walls, and seismic hazard assessments (including liquefaction studies).
Special Inspection and Material Testing
Construction 1704 Special Inspection and material testing including observation and compaction testing for fills; observation of concrete reinforcement, concrete placement (conventional reinforced concrete, shotcrete, pre-stressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, concrete masonry construction), anchor and bolting inspection, non-destructive and shop steel welding and steel construction, and spray-applied waterproofing.
Small Civil Design
Residential and small commercial civil engineering projects, including site grading and roadway access, percolation testing and septic design, retaining wall design and slope repairs, lakefront and river revetments, and stormwater management systems. Many of these designs are closely related to our expertise in and knowledge of soil conditions.
